Meet Marsibil

Marsibil is passionate about normalizing mental health care and reducing the stigma attached to mental health concerns. She believes in a holistic approach to therapy, meeting each individual where they are at and providing empathetic, strength based counseling, centered around a strong therapeutic alliance between counselor and client, through validation and normalization of each client's concern.


Marsibil will help you cultivate self-awareness and mindfulness to increase positive coping skills when dealing with challenging situations and managing trauma responses as a part of therapy as needed.


Marsibil believes in integrative therapy, meaning she will tailor the techniques and tools used to benefit the individual the most. These include:


  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Mindfulness based stress reduction
  • Yoga/Meditation
  • Somatic experiencing
  • Psychoeducation


Marsibil is a certified yoga instructor and draws on her experience with yoga to guide the therapeutic process to the comfort level of the client. This includes grounding exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation based on the individual client's needs.



Marsibil was a Recipient of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Training Grant in Integrated Health in 2023-2024

Meet Elva

Elva has extensive experience as a mental health counselor and has had her own private practice in central Florida for many years.


Elva has over 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents and adults of diverse backgrounds, and her approach is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can be heard and feel connected. 


Elva has a compassionate counseling style; supportive yet direct. Elva is passionate about helping clients identify their own strengths, create hope and improve self-esteem.


Elva has experience in a variety of settings such as outpatient, residential and public school setting, and utilizes multiple treatment modalities in her daily practice, based upon your individual needs, personality and background, including:


  • Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)
  • Art Therapy
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy
  • Psychoeducation


Elva is experienced with Depressive Disorders such as Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders (Social Anxiety, Generalized Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Codependency, Relationship dysfunctions, Communication and Social Struggles, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (formerly identified as Asperger’s Syndrome). 


Ms. Jonsdottir, is a Qualified Supervisor for Registered Mental Health Counseling Interns, providing education, support, and guidance for counselors in the beginning of their career.
